Week13 Problem and Solution.

Problem and Solution is a pattern of organization where information in a passage is expressed as a dilemma or concerning issue (a problem) and something that was, can be, or should be done to remedy this issue (solution or attempted solution). There are also a few signal words which may indicate that information in a passage is ordered in the problem and solution pattern of organization: propose, solution, answer, issue, problem, problematic, remedy, prevention, and fix.

I read the text and found Problem/Solution Markers. And write either Problem or Solution in the relevant information.


I thought found Problem/Solution Markers are important because, it help to know which sentence was Problem or Solution to remark Problem/Solution Markers.


Finally, I thought some text was difficult so, I practice more read books, novels etc. My attitude towards the lesson was not easy.

Week 12 Exemplification

I studied unit:8 "Exemplification" was meant uses examples to explain, convince, or illustrate a general idea.

After finished reading she told us to do exercise about “College Students’ Pressure” and highlight the Exemplification Markers. Then, complete the diagram.

I read text 2 “Fun things to do in Great Falls” and highlight the Exemplification Markers.

Then, match the place with the activities. I read text 3 and highlight the Exemplification Markers. Then, answer the questions. And read text 4.
I thought detail information text 1 was easy. But I not known written complete the diagram. And text 2,3,4 detail information text easy.

Week 11 Definition & Classification

And next, she explained us about the “Definition & Classification” before she gave us the new handout.

I read sentence Skill Practice 1 and find Definition Markers, technical terms, and underline the definitions. I thought exercise was easy.
Then, I read paragraphs Skill Practice 2 and found Classification Markers and draw a diagram show the classification. I think exercise was not easy.

We took a break at 10 o’clock.

After that, I read the texts “What is Anthropology?” and complete the diagram. The diagram was difficult.

I thought Definition Markers was easy but Classification Markers and written complete the diagram was difficult. So,
I practiced written complete the diagram and read text about Classification Markers. My attitude towards the lesson was not easy
